Naila KC 20-02-2024 Mount Jabal An Noor

My apologise for a long post, but I had to share this incident.

We're away on a family trip in Saudi Arabia.

Today, we went to Mount Jabal An Noor in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. It was a scorching day, and the hike was 650 meters. When we were about to start our descent, I witnessed a crowd of people giving instructions. Upon asking, I learned that a girl, approximately 16 or 17 years old, was unconscious after a quarrel. I don't know much about the background of what happened, but it sounded like a brutal incident between two girls from different water-selling groups on the mount.

I was desperate to help, but ambulance/first aid was difficult to get there, and men were scared to help out by touching women without consent due to potential hefty fines. I had a limited supply of homeopathic remedies. The only remedy that came to my mind was Carbo Veg 'corpse reviver,' but I had given my bottle to my aunt just a day ago. I went through all the remedies I had, and somehow Ferrum Phos felt right. My mind said it would help circulate oxygen in her body.

My husband stopped me, concerned about potential blame if she didn't survive, but I didn't care about the consequences at that time; I just wanted to help her. The other girls moved her to another area for fresh air and more space, which happened to be nearer to me. I went over, and her body was stiff and shuvering and saliva dribbling out of her mouth. I couldn't assess the situation accurately and just put some globules of Ferr-f 30 in her mouth, moved her onto her side, supporting her with the legs and to my surprise, her body started to relax within a few seconds. I then gave her Aconite, Arnica, followed by Ferrum Phos again, and her breathing stabilized.

She gagged a few times and I helped her stand up by supporting her back, but she gagged and nothing came out. Now I was the lead person helping her and everyone left it on me, her sister came and started crying loudly, but I shushed her and asked her to help instead of creating another scene. An officer arrived and asked us to perform CPR, but I reassured him that she was breathing fine now, and to my surprise, he left without taking further action. I gave another dose of Aconite and Arnica followed by Ferrum Phos, and she became more responsive, opening her eyes. I asked her if she wanted water, and she moved her head in a negative gesture.

An ambulance was called, and her sister wanted to carry her down, but I stopped her and asked other men to help carry her down to the ambulance. I instructed them by putting her on a cloth and asked four of them to carry her down.

My husband later said he believed my remedies saved her life today, and my dad also expressed gratitude, stating she survived because of my remedies.

I am unsure if the remedies were the right choice, but they seemed to have helped in the moment and I feel extreme gratitude to be somewhere at the right time with the 'tiny miracles'.
